Travels

I LOVE to travel! It's such a thrill to buy a plane ticket and go somewhere new! The past few years I have tried to go to one new place each year. Last year I didn't go anywhere new...other than moving to/from Columbia :) Some of my favorite trips were to Boston for a Clemson vs. Boston College football game and to Arizona to a dude ranch!

A while back some friends and I decided that we would like to go to California. We've been saving, researching, and saving some more for our big trip. It's finally here...we leave Saturday! There are four of us going (2 who have been to Cali before and 2 who have not). I am so thankful to have these girls as my friends and travel buddies.

Since I've had time off this summer I have done lots of research for our trip and let me tell you I am so excited! There is something special about traveling to a new place and learning new things. I was very fortunate to be able to travel as a child. Before I graduated high school I had already traveled to 10 states, Cancun, the Bahamas, and London. Since then I have added a few more states, but no more out of the country trips. I have a map that keep and each time I visit a new state I color it in. One of my "life goals" is to visit all 50 states. So far I'm up to 15.

I'm off for a week of vacation in sunny California...hoping to see a celeb or two ;) I'll post LOTS of pictures upon our return!
